Great House design offers protection against flood
The flood-safe house is one of the most effective and interesting projects that I’ve seen so far. Designed by an American Studio, the flood-safe house Peek Ancona, in San Francisco, more than just a simply fascinating project that looks good. It is a prototype that can serve the people who live in areas where the flooding pose an immediate danger.
Stable and solid construction made of wood
The House after a flood or even a tsunami to can remain whole. Nowadays, this is clearly of great importance! The House is based on a metal structure which is decorated with edging and easy-drying bamboo wood.
Soft lighting system in the House
The House was built taking into account the principles of sustainability, using 30% less materials than the usual “anti-Übershwemmungshäuser”. The architects say the following about this project: “the ‘ Western Red Cedar”gefuftete wall”facade is a highly technical application which low-tech uses renewable materials.” ” The air circulates under this cover and creates additional insulation and rain screen barrier. The piping details lend a. an aesthetic addition to the eclectic context, which are formed from elements from the middle of the 20th century and those that are typical of the rustic North Kali form niche building”
Despite the functional looks, the living room is very stylish and comfortable.
