Perfectly adapted to modern Bogenhaus with style – on the environment
A bow-shaped roof steel rises from a grassy knoll in East Hampton, New York. This original Bogenhaus was created by Studio Maziar Behrooz Architecture for a proud owner – a couple and their two dogs. The total area amounted to 595 square meters. The industrial appearance of the building is in harmony with the surroundings – about the home run a trajectory and a railroad track.
The real challenge for the architects was to find the right scale for the bow. The main task was to make the House as a private, secure refuge. At the end of a successful home – was cozy and spacious at the same time. While the upper part of the area is home to the kitchen, the dining and living area in an open plan, the work -, living-room and the garage are located on the ground floor.
The Bogenhaus is an architectural gem. Elegant and simple, multifunctional and minimalist in design, this modern building is a unique home.
