Designer country house by the architect Luis de Garrido

Inspired by the shape of the football, the architect Luis de Garrido has a fantastic Ecohouse specifically for the Argentine football star Lionel Messi designed.  Named the Ecohouse “1:0” has a massive, cylindrical shape, and has a roof garden with lush vegetation and sustainable properties. The lifestyle and interests of ideal customers – Lionel Messi, the architect has created this virtual home on the famous footballer.


The Ecohouse should be on an area of 35 km. be built North of Barcelona. From the bird’s eye view, the structure looks exactly like a soccer ball with the typical hexagonal pattern. It will cover half of the roof with grass and the other half – a triangular grid of mirror glass which can be freely suffuse the light of day in the House.

Wooden terraces around the House connect the indoor to outdoor. Visitors can enter the House through a gate with a green roof. There is a huge pool in the backyard.

This Ecohouse is a cooperative project of the National Association of sustainable architecture, where the eco-house design architects design for a list of famous people.
