The House is located in the quarter of Mouraria. It is located in close proximity to Largo da Severa, evolved into a centre of Portuguese music. The House had originally three storeys and an attic about lying. It covers 104 m² and initially had many rooms. The building had many structural problems before the renovation of José Adrião.

The main room is impressive

The main hall of the cultural centre rises above 6.5 m above sea level. As a result, the Chamber reaches a very integral character. One of the walls work as a screen for video projection.
