Second hand clothing becomes art
Second hand clothing is becoming more popular. Many of us have often been cleaned up the own wardrobes and thrown away numerous pieces of dress in old clothes container. But not only wearing used clothes, but also the recycling of it is always current. The two exiles Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz have found a very interesting manner to turn old clothes into art. The theme of the exhibition of the two artists is literally translated: get out of the peace. The name originated from the two surnames of the artist and is also responsible for the content relevant.
The two work together since 1996. Since 1997, they live in a neighborhood in Miami where many second hand finding shops are. Da kilo old clothes are thrown away every day. This is an optimum condition for the two artists and they have benefited. So, all installations of the exhibition have been created. Particularly fascinating, the imitation of the famous sculpture by Michelangelo Buonarroti is off Pieta 1499. Other no less impressive objects are the Rainbow, the meeting two diplomats or the snake. See this unique collection myself and let you work the feats.
