Campana bed design for Edra – Milan 2013
Milan 2013 the Brazilian duo of Fernando and Humberto Campana, designs has shown five new beds which have conceived for the Italian furniture brand Edra. A curtain made of bast fibres creates a long hairy veil to one of the beds, what looks naturally extravagant and extraordinary. In her opening speech, the designers Fernando and Humberto Campana have said they worked again with this collection of furniture for Edra of their old furniture and created a new design for many of them.

Additional exhibits of their collection are the Cabana cabinet (with materials by 2010) and the Cabana bed to distinguished bast with long strands you can bind using magnetic leather belt. The Grinza bed is covered with faltigem leather, as well as the 2011 created Grinza Chair.
Extravagant, designer bed frame – gold plated wire
Faux fur covered the Cipria sofa from the year 2009, which is equipped with a fluffy headboard.
The Corallo bed has a confused gold-plated wire frame, similar to the 2004 created Corallo Chair.

The fifth bed in the collection is a favela, which is made from wood boards. The wood planks are roughly together glued and nailed. The same design appears first in the favela chairs, which are at first Campana – hotel in the Interior.
The Campana beds were shown last week at the Edra show room in Milan.
