Designer Chair “R Shell”
Let us show you today a young and talented designer from Taipei, Taiwan to present. This is Eva Chou , and below you will find pictures from her project “R Shell Chair” – a stunning designer Chair.
Mrs Chou like deals with industrial design and finds inspiration in the simple geometric shapes that lend their designs unusual structures. So is also the case with Chous project “R Shell”. The Chair consists of two surfaces that support each other. Its concept is based on the method of the monocoque and goes still further. The designer figured out how both surfaces of the Chair, which are actually curved shaped each other can rely and it remains the balance in the center of the Chair. And so this unique chair design emerged – from love to the detail and to the structural design.

A Chair surface consists of a wire frame from multiple lines in red. The other surface in white is so to say close and reflects the line-like structure of the Red wire frame. So each other perfectly complement both structures and form a whole. Of course, this is represented best by following images. Take a look and find the “R shell” more about Designer Chair know!
