White folding table design OLA by AKKA
Cologne 2011: this folding table by Swedish designers AKKA is one of the two winning projects in the this year’s [D3] contest, an international competition for young designers, organised by imm cologne fair.
Update: This project included book of ideas in the Dezeen, which is now for sale. Named after one of the designers fathers OLA, can the lightweight design folded and unfolded, without having to turn the piece.

The design is manufactured by the Swedish company Materia and officially introduced at Stockholm furniture fair next month. AKKA shared the first [D3] price with the pressed Chair Harry Thaler and the second prize went to Moody couch by Hanna Emelie Ernsting.

The OLA is an easily treated folding table, standing on his feet. Even a pretty little lady could be unleashed hundreds of tables at a Conference without risking their health when they have to turn around not the whole table.
