The Club Hotel in Singapore by Ministry of design
Ministry of design has designed, a new small luxury House in Singapore, “The Club”.
The club hotel is the last, State of the art luxury House by Ministry of design, located in the mega Club Street and has 22 unique rooms and a roof top Cafe on the roof in the open air.In the design of the club hotel brand building, MOD has carefully organized a suitable DesignVision to all relatives, accompanying signage and furnishings. Focused on the design and the style of life of the nomads, this hotel is a blend of sophisticated and comfortable designs immediately located, specifically local, as well as globally famous.
Colin Seah, the design director says, “On the search for new construction, to build the hotel part of Singapore, and also historically rich monument area of Club Street and to get Ann Siang Hill, we have drawn inspiration from 2 sources.””The first is Singapore’s colonial past, which we must, mention by ironisch-artificial additions here like for example the larger than life Rafflestatue with his head in the clouds, as well as some central pieces of furniture and works of art.”
The second inspiration comes from the popularity of the area as a transfer center of Chinese immigrants of the turn of the year hunt er, when sent the money earned and wistful letters to the home country. All rooms combine traditional colonial design with the modern detailing, opinion and lovely well through a colonial chic aesthetic. The unique combined with the refined artwork in each of the 22 rooms. MOD has designed the artwork and the well known local artist Wynlyn Tan has implemented it in the hotel. Guests have the choice, located in the lobby area or to check in at the Skybar. F * B areas designed by Jane Yeo, vestibule, tapas bar and 2 private banquet facilities feature a lobby.
