Creative interior design shows a contrast between indoors and outdoors
Izakaya Kinoya in Montreal, Canada is the latest restaurant by the interior designer Jean de Lessard designed. Here, he tries the atmosphere to mimic the function and aesthetics of informal restaurants, where they like to drink beer and rice liquor. Since opening, the bar is always full of people. It should be even shoulder-to-shoulder. The soft lighting and cosy, natural atmosphere transform it into a friendly environment where the wood smell pleasantly mixed with this delicious food.
Lively bar and restaurant
Fractal geometry and broken lines designate the simplicity of Interior design – a box, its form reminiscent of an articulated snake. The enclosure creates a contrast between the already known (the world outside) and the unknown (the chaotic atmosphere and interior design of corners and cracks). “Every room will generate their own energy to become a vibrant, unique place. I have designed such an environment, which is focused on the art of the party. The designer elements are deliberately oppressive or aggressive for a lawless, rough atmosphere “- Jean de Lessard says.
