My smart House
When Joe Walters has bought this House in Vancouver, a broken car stood in front and you could see the sky through the rotted roof.
Then, Walter, the founder of Radec group, a company in the construction sector, and his wife Karla have renovated atmosphere by architect Joseph Eichler House in the mid-century. The motto was: “nothing unnecessary or too fashionable.” Simply good design.”
The environmentally friendly materials have now refreshes the room and the new home automation have reduced energy consumption and the entertainment, lighting, air conditioning and safety systems of the House have been integrated with the Smartphones and tablets of the owner. One could say that the House is now the jewel of the neighborhood.

Size: 140 M², 3 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, plus 72 M² basement with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The 4-metrige kitchen island is the Center. The long white caesarstone countertop wrap down over the walnut solid wood. A slipped sink maximizes the area of the worktop, the clear acrylic chairs the central role of the island.The Interior Designer Paula Guerra has designed the walnut cabinets without apparent equipment.
Very elegant and shiny
We have a fully automated House, full integration of audiovisual equipment, lighting, air conditioning and safety systems – says Walters. With the sunset, the lamps are switched on out there. The lights are set to maximum 80%, what is imperceptible, but however much energy will save. With iPads you can turn the lights and switch off, listening to music and the frequency change.
