It’s no secret more, that grilling even without meat. BBQ vegetarian or even vegan is not only fun, but has very many advantages – not only for our health and the environment. The moral side of meat eating and more specifically the versatile disadvantages of mass production is already on everyone’s lips, and gaining more and more supporters worldwide. And it should stay that way, because sustainable development and environmental awareness are today more important than ever. Although vegetarian grilling is a no-brainer, one must note however some aspects. What vegetables and fruits as food best suited? What oil should you use? How is marinated to grill? These are all very simple questions, which are crucial, if you want to grill vegetarian.

Choosing vegetables and fruit the right
Of course you can try it in principle with everything. There’s no strict restrictions. It’s ultimately the own taste, which as you know is different for each. Nevertheless, the rule of thumb is: fruit and vegetables for the grill should be deep!
To juicy varieties are less so. You can prepare but always a delicious meal of grilled Endive or radicchio safely with peppers, potatoes, mushrooms, Zucchini, artichokes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, corn on the cob, carrots. And for the sweet tooth, bananas, apples, peaches, pears, pineapple and figs are a delicious alternative to chocolate and cakes.

Seitan and tempeh are two more vegan meat alternatives that are not so well known to employ for this but also very healthy and versatile when cooking. Seitan comes from Japan and consists of wheat protein, which is why he is not for people with gluten intolerance (celiac disease).
