The required ingredients:
- 1 kg of mussels
- 3 bacon slices
- 2 small cut shallots
- 50 ml of dry white wine
- 60 ml apple cider vinegar
- 1 green apple sliced cubes
- 2 SL butter
- 1 stalk of fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 SL ground pepper
Preheat the oven to 200 °. Cut out a square piece of parchment paper (about 30 cm X 30 cm). Fold the pages like a book cover and put the clean shells in the middle. First, let aside.
Fry the bacon for about 10 minutes until it becomes crispy. Add the shallot and fry for another 4 minutes. The white wine and the vinegar are added. The stove is switched off, add the apple, stir and cover.
Cut small pieces of butter and add them to the mussels. The wine mixture and the thyme stem are added and the parchment closed. Bake for about 20 minutes and serve warm.
A salad with sea breeze

An aromatic and nutritious recipe that will finish in minutes.
- 500 g of mussels
- 1 onion
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 SL olive oil
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1 SL capers
- 1 tsp sliced basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Cut the onion and garlic into small pieces and fry in preheated oil. Stir often until golden brown. The tomatoes and peppers are also chopped and added to the pan along with the capers. Taste with the spices. Stir until the tomatoes soften for about 7 to 8 minutes. The clean shells are given and covered. Cook until the mussel shells open (about 6 minutes). The closed mussels are sorted out. Cool and serve in large serving bowls.
