Art posters from Kayan KWOK: Audrey Hepburn times differently
Kayan Kwok is a young artist from China, based in Hong Kong. It is at the same time Illustrator and graphic designer. Their impressive art posters have gained her much attention on the Web. The project she has started as self initiative, is called “A poster per day for 365 days” / “A poster a day for 365 days” – an ambitious one-year project.
Inspiration found Kwok in the retro and vintage style. The American advertising fascinates the young designer in the period from 1920 to 1960 and she gladly uses elements from this period and mixes them with contemporary graphical techniques. This makes their personal style unique and instantly recognizable.

Poster design: Kayan Kwok can expertly create posters
“Audrey” posters with pictures of the British movie icon Audrey Hepburn combine traditional Chinese ink drawings. The collages are represented in black and white and refreshed with a subtle colour accent in mint green. They are slightly surrealistic, and represent a perfect symbiosis between the traditional Chinese art and modern pop culture.
