2020 summer Olympics are held in Tokyo
What does the logo? What is the idea behind it?
The logo of the Olympic Games was presented exactly 5 years before the summer Olympics in Tokyo (24.07 on 09.08 2020). According to the official press release, we can interpret the logo as follows:
The focus is an uppercase “T” which stands for “Team”, “Tomarrow” and “Tokyo”. The unit, which make these 3 concepts and the force that results from it, are the hidden message of the logo. The black colour symbolizes the unification of all colors in one and the circle stands for tolerance and the dream for a United World, in which everyone accepts the other. Here the Red symbolizes every beating heart. These elements are combined and configured in different ways. Thus not only the logo of the Olympic Games, but also this the para-Olympic Games is formed by 2020.
